Maseru Pool Championship Tournament


PASCO Pool Club- the winners of Maseru Pool Championship Tournament

Maseru District Snooker and Pool Subcommittee in collaboration with Lesotho Snooker and Pool Association hosted for the first time the Maseru Pool Championship Tournament on the 25- 27 May 2018 at Makoanyane Barracks
"The aim of the tournament was to advertise pool in the country so as to attract potential sponsors and players who are not keen to join the existing clubs. The other objective was to select best players that can represent Lesotho at international level." the Secretary Mr Raphoto said,  

This tournament was sponsored by China Geo, which sponsored with cash worth of M46 000 which covered the prize monies. The Champions, PASCO Pool Club which was competing against 40 other Maseru Pool Clubs won a prize money worth of  M7,000 and a trophy

COSSASA 2018 Team Lesotho

This Team left Lesotho on the 5th May 2018 to compete in the Confederation of School Sport in Southern Africa -COSSASA 2018 Athletic games which were held in Francistown -Botswana. The Team got home today on the 11th May 2018 and brought home 8 medals(4gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze).

African Union Sports Council Gala Dinner at Lesotho National Convention Center

This is the Team Lesotho that competed in the 2018 Confederation of School Sport in Southern Africa -COSSASA Athletic games which were held in Francistown -Botswana. The Team departed on Saturday 5th May and got home today the 11th May 2018. In a press conference held at the LSRC boardroom upon arrival, it was announced that the team brought home 8 medals(4gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze). At the same event, Lesotho broke records in 800m, 1500m and 3000m and Manqabang Tsibela as well as Thebe Semoko were behind this enormous performance

Likatola Send Off to Ghana Africa Bronze Cup

On behalf of Likatola Mr Liteboho Mahase mentioned that the team is prepared to go play in Ghana and is aiming to move from the Bronze level to Silver which that he mentioned that it gives them as a team even harder challenges as they will be playing at an international level with stronger teams.


AUSC Region 5 Executive Committee Meetings Opening Ceremony at Avani Lesotho

On Thursday the 3rd May 2018 Lesotho MGYSR and LSRC hosted an Opening Ceremony for the AUSC Region 5 Executive Committee Meetings that were held in Lesotho. These meetings commenced on the 25th April 2018, ended on the 4th May 2018
